So many Belgian beers, so little time to visit. Beer to Taste knows how to make the best of your time and make your beer wishes come true.
Beer to Taste offers the best visits in the world.
Tours typically range between 6 to 30 people. This is a comfortable size to gain access to interesting and intimate restaurants, not overwhelm breweries during our visits and to keep tours reasonably priced. Enjoy yourself without worrying about driving in Belgian traffic. City sightseeing and crossing the hops fields are a part of the journey…
With more than 14 years as a beer guide (Dutch/French/English/German/Portuguese) Beer to Taste offers breweries (Rodenbach/Palm and malt and Brew house De Snoek) and attractions that are not open to the general public.
The guest breweries are in English (optionally in French and Dutch).
Travelling private luxury coaches, a VW van, on your motorbike to public transportation are possible.
1) First example: a ‘Palm Belgian craft brewers’ experience day.
(Not available on Saturday & Sunday)
Palm Breweries is a tourist hot spot that welcomes 20,000 visitors a year, where an informative visitors’ tour through the brewery is combined with a visit to the famous Brabant draught horses at Diepensteyn Stud Farm. You learn about the four types of fermentation all belonging to one brewery.
Beer to Taste offers 2 different menus (from 15p) in the Brewers house or the Cornet Menu in the castle Diepensteyn.
2) Second example (on Saturday or Sunday)
A visit of the breweries ‘De dolle brouwers’ and ‘De struise brouwers’ (= the mad and massive brewers) and a lunch in a beerrestaurant. Ending in the pub ‘de Vrede’ in the shadow of the Sint-Sixtus abbey in West-Vleteren is the climax. The ‘in de Vrede’ visitor’s center hosts the only cafe on the globe where you can taste the “Best Beer in the World”: they’re the only ones authorized to serve the famous Westvleteren Trappist beer.Ready for the neighbour Sint-Bernardus?
3) For those who didn’t find which beer is my taste? You definitely will find your beer match or information about your favorite style, beer or brewery. There is a beer for every man AND women.
It is sometimes said that when you have seen one brewery, you’ve seen them all. However, it is when you have visited several breweries that you start noticing the differences between them. And it is these details that makes Beer to Taste stand out over all competition.
Your desires in Belgian and Flemish artisanal beers will be surpassed. Beer to Taste listens to your special beer request, send Beer to Taste an information mail without any obligation.
